Links - CamelBones Apps
-
PerlPad
PerlPad hooks into the Services menu, allowing you to write services in Perl that are available from any Mac OS X app.
-
CamelBones
Projects at jerakeen.org
There's only one project there at the moment, but it's an interesting one to say the least: A web browser that uses Apple's WebKit.
-
iTunes2MySQL
An app to import your iTunes library into MySQL. It's bundled with DBI and DBD::mysql modules for both Jaguar and Panther, for a hassle-free install.
-
e1337iZeR
A cute little app that turns your text into 1337 h@x0rz jargon. The site is in German.
-
MachOView
This app lets you view the symbols exported and/or imported by a framework. A Jaguar version of the CamelBones.framework is embedded in the app, and Panther users will need to delete that.
-
LanguageStripper
If you speak only English, you can use this app to regain quite a bit of space on your hard drive by deleting foreign language help files and other resources. It would be nice if you could choose what language(s) to keep and which to delete.

jonasbn
One of many things here is a front-end for the Games::Bingo Perl module. It's distributed as source code, so you'll need to build it. It needs the Games::Bingo module, too.

Phroggy
Another eclectic page. The Tic-Tac-Toe game here uses CamelBones. (I didn't know about it when I created the CB demo app.) This app includes a copy of the CamelBones framework in the .app bundle, which causes problems for users of the "wrong" system. If you're using Jaguar, this app works out of the box, but if you're using Panther, you'll need to look inside the .app bundle and delete the embedded CamelBones.framework to allow the app to use the standard shared framework.
